Everyday planning and implementing standard based and multi-strategy lessons in 7 content areas by gathering materials and using different curriculums to produce spiral lessons.
Differentiate and supplement instruction for each student’s varying abilities. I am able to scale lessons up and down to meet the needs of each student so they succeed with the specific objective in each lesson.
Cater to a diverse group of students; culturally, socially and academically. Adapt learning to students with differing levels of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) that affect the inside of the classroom but still provide a valuable and competitive education.
Analyze students’ assessment data, work samples, and participation in order to successfully and continuously group students, based on their ability and knowledge, for guided reading groups, math intervention, and cooperative learning activities.
Assists with goal setting, reflection, and instructional planning during Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. In addition, follow strict laws for specific students' learning abilities.
Service and support English Language Learners (ELLs) that make up one third of the classroom. With this comes following very rigid state laws and still being able to successfully see growth in students.
Actively participated and presented at district and site level Professional Development (PD), Professional Learning Communities (PLC).
Selected as a new teacher to collaborate with peers on committees like Summer School, Mentorship, Tutoring and PBIS for an A+ School of Excellence and #1 rated Phoenix Metro School.
