3rd Grade Teacher Crockett Elementary

Everyday planning and implementing standard based and multi-strategy lessons in 7 content areas by gathering materials and using different curriculums to produce spiral lessons.
Differentiate and supplement instruction for each student’s varying abilities. I am able to scale lessons up and down to meet the needs of each student so they succeed with the specific objective in each lesson.
Cater to a diverse group of students; culturally, socially and academically. Adapt learning to students with differing levels of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) that affect the inside of the classroom but still provide a valuable and competitive education.

Provided an online platform for up to 20 students that were distance learning, while teaching the other 20 students in person 5 days a week. Met with students on meets, provided notes, graded, and taught all students on the online platform.
Developed a classroom management approach that includes effective transitions, logical consequences, specific behavioral feedback, and implementation of behavior interventions.
Led team meetings on a full team of seven. Facilitated data driven meetings with 250 grade level student data to provide interventions, find gaps and analyze what grade level steps are to follow.
Collaborated with parents on a daily basis to cater to the individual needs of students both online and in person.
Wrote and created weekly outreach for parents of upwards of 250 students. Newsletter included both campus and district news and information to keep parents up to date on what is happening in the classroom and online.
