– Developed skills such as multitasking, working under pressure, communicating with different people in various settings, prioritizing duties, working with others in a close environment, and general troubleshooting.
– Work as the primary focal point for all dispatch communications for 3 hospitals and after hours calls for 23 Intermountain clinics, managing calls for all IH facilities in our respective region.
– Receive patient transfer requests and assist with communication between physicians to facilitate transfer of patients.
– Work with Security and Hospital Management, monitoring alarms and overall function of the main hospital facilities.
– Send out all emergency codes and notifications when instructed, acting as a liaison for those responding to the notifications including Police, Fire, and Hazmat agencies.
– Troubleshoot for the entire building services communication and alarm systems.
– Knowledge of software systems including Microsoft Suite, Office 365, Google Suite, Alertus, SmartWeb, and SPOK services.
– Trained other coworkers and new hires on duties mentioned above.

Working with IH's research department on their most recent study. I have been able to sit in on planning meetings and complete the study bibliography. In the near future, I will start helping with data collection, patient and caregiver education, and helping facilities start as the study begins.
