I am an Enthusiastic PMP-certified Project Engineering Manager with over 13 years of experience in mechanical systems manufacturing and quality engineering, specializing in APQP, FAI, SPC, PFMEA, PPAP, GD&T, 5S, IATF 16949, AS9100, and ISO 14001. Proven track record in strategic planning, team development, and global standardization of processes. Skilled in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, risk assessment, and implementing robust quality management systems. Adept at leading cross-functional teams and managing budgets across multiple plants. Proficient in AutoCAD, Solid Works, SAP, and project management tools. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering and certifications including PMP, while training for Six Sigma Black Belt.
My current role as Project Engineering Manager for A Berger Precision Ltd. involves driving global process standardization, leading program management, Product management with Quality management, and establishing comprehensive management system processes. Recently established and launched at a global Scale Project management system using Click-up software as a backdrop with establishing key SOW and process flows. Key achievements include the successful implementation of a 10 million Swiss Francs Industry 4.0 manufacturing process, reducing tact time by 50%, and spearheading cost-saving initiatives. Have launched over 45 successful projects with combined annual volumes of over 60 million pieces. Processes include Procurement of equipment, Tooling, Gaging, Packaging, Turning, Milling, Grinding, heat treatment, Deburring, Plating, Inspection, etc., negotiations with customers, and suppliers, establishing and managing budgets along with guiding and managing a team of 15 that includes Program managers, Quality Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers and Process Engineers.
I was initially hired as a Project Manager at the company, but quickly took on additional responsibilities in Production Project Management and eventually became the Project Engineering Manager. As I found success in these roles, I also took on responsibility for Customer Quality. As the company expanded, I was also put in charge of the USA location to replicate the success of the Canadian plant.
Previous experience at Linamar Corporation includes roles as a Project Engineer and Process Engineer, demonstrating expertise in APQP, process optimization, and cost reduction. Achievements include an 85% reduction in production costs, streamlining tooling changeovers, and enhancing productivity on high-volume production lines.
