In my postgraduate program in cloud computing, I gained a comprehensive understanding of key topics essential for working with cloud technologies. I started with the fundamentals of cloud computing, learning about deployment models (private, public, hybrid) and service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). I explored cloud architecture and design, focusing on creating scalable and resilient infrastructures while evaluating different cloud platforms. Security was a major focus, and I delved into securing cloud environments, including encryption, identity management, and compliance. I also learned about virtualization and containerization, including technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Cloud service management was another key area, where I studied resource management, cost optimization, and governance in the cloud. Additionally, I gained insights into distributed systems and cloud networking, as well as cloud storage solutions and databases like AWS S3 and DynamoDB. Automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform and Ansible were covered, enabling me to manage cloud resources efficiently. The program also emphasized DevOps practices, including continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and cloud development, including serverless architectures and deploying applications in the cloud. This wide-ranging curriculum has equipped me with the skills necessary for roles in cloud engineering, DevOps, and cloud architecture.
