I am a full stack web and mobile developer that specializes in Flutter for iOS and Android. My formal education consists of attending UCSD for physics, which was instrumental in learning advanced functions and teaching me problem solving skills that help me to understand the basis behind technical disciplines today. After university I started programming and through the open source community, I found I loved creating software. I have been building websites and mobile applications for over 8 years now. Specializing in Flutter, I have experience developing tens of apps for iOS and Android. I am also proficient with JS frameworks like React, Vue, Svelte, Angular, Next etc. and consider myself well versed in full stack software dev. I believe being a good front end dev requires full stack knowledge, and on the server-side I have configured Nginx and various HTTP and Websocket servers with use cases like RTC and VPNs, and used frameworks like Express, Django and Flask. I’ve deployed these frameworks to cloud servers with best practice security in mind like rate limiting and key rotation, scalable with containerization. I have implemented SQL databases and noSQL databases, such as Firebase on my last project Netra AI and dynamoDB for Revenue Logic. I’ve also worked with many AWS and Google Cloud services and APIs, have used CI/CD tools like Github, Gitlab, Fastlane and Jira, and have worked as Dev Ops scripting deployment pipelines as a consultant. I know in detail the pain points working on a large project with a team entails, from dev environments and sandbox configuration, mocking data, merge conflicts, build environments, to obfuscation of code, and user data, compliance and performance metrics, telemetry, A/B testing, I have experience in all these areas and keep up to date with modern trends and tools. I have been able to work on many interesting projects and engaged with teams to connect technologies into viable products. One of the largest apps I was able to work on was the Halen app where I was lead Flutter developer, leading our team to build hundreds of screens and control components for multiple of their services, choosing packages to implement such as riverpod, hive and freezed, and guiding our codebase with SOLID MVC architecture. More recently I worked on Netra AI, building complicated features such as real time camera inference that took a lot of performance optimization. I have a strong interest in emerging tech like AI having integrated machine learning into projects using OpenCV to measure items with a camera, and implemented regression for predicting insurance policy prices, and used Vertex AI to expose computer vision model training. I use software as a constructive outlet to focus my energies, and believe I have a lot to offer as a team member as I continue to grow and improve. Now that I am seeking to move into a position such as this, I continue to be passionate about being able to apply my skills and want to learn and implement new technologies, and I would love the opportunity to join and assist your team.
