I'm a product-focused frontend engineer with almost a decade of experience in both startups and enterprise companies. I've spent much of my career building complex web applications with Angular, React, and TypeScript, while also leading teams, mentoring engineers, and helping plan project delivery. Most recently at Rally, I worked on customer-facing headless checkout solutions in a fast-paced, fully remote startup environment, combining hands-on development with proactive collaboration across engineering and product teams.
I am fluent in English and Bosnian with a basic knowledge of German. My technical stack includes React, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, WordPress, Tailwind, HTML5, and CSS. I have experience working as an independent contractor delivering React-based applications and consulting on product and e-commerce strategy.
Key projects I contributed to include Kanoscale, a fully remote async global team developing React-based frontends; Twinkling Tree, where I acted as a strategy consultant defining checkout flow improvements and tooling selection; EyeLuxCare, where I owned the full lifecycle of a boutique WordPress website from design to deployment; and Klara, a native iOS mobile app for parents, which I co-founded and built with hands-on ownership of product direction, UX, and real-life user feedback.
Previously, I contributed as a Senior Frontend Engineer at Rally Commerce Inc., developing modular, user-facing components using Angular, React, and Vanilla JavaScript designed for easy integration across multiple storefront environments. I built a composable framework of modular checkout components to support customizable user flows and experimentation, leveraging Angular Elements to create a granular, composable architecture across the checkout experience.
I have also worked as a Senior Frontend Engineer and Team Lead at Galeyo, contributing to a large Angular-based web platform for medical QA data management, integrating data from multiple sources and devices into a single, intuitive interface. I led two developers while continuing hands-on contributions and worked with local and remote teams following agile methodologies, traveling to Germany multiple times to support the client on-site.
My career started as an Engineer Intern at .east (later rebranded to Galeyo) during my final year of master's studies, initially as a test engineer, quickly transitioning to managing, designing, and developing WordPress websites for clients in Sweden and Germany. I have mentored interns who later received full-time offers and have a strong background in agile development, team leadership, and mentoring.
