About

Professional summary

I am a PhD researcher currently working at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique in France. My research focuses on applying generative AI, particularly large language models, to multilingual text generation and evaluation. I have been involved in high-level publications, contributing to conferences indexed by the ACL Anthology, including ACL, IJCNLP/AACL, and INLG. I also have a background in developing open-source code and models for multilingual text generation.

Before my current role, I worked as a research and teaching assistant at the Universidad de Costa Rica, where I focused on data anonymization, multi-agent simulation, and cloud architecture. My academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in informatics, culminating in my PhD studies at Université de Lorraine, where I am currently finalizing my thesis on multilingual graph-to-text generation and evaluation.

I hold a Master’s degree in Natural Language Processing and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, both of which have provided me with the necessary skills to excel in my research. I am passionate about languages and creative writing, and I enjoy exploring the intersection of technology and literature.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I have developed a range of technical skills, including proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and various data science libraries. I am always eager to learn and apply new technologies to enhance my research and contribute to the field of AI.

My interests extend beyond academia; I am also involved in game development and enjoy writing creatively. I believe that my diverse skill set and experiences make me a valuable asset in any research or development team.
