Cybersecurity Specialist

I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity at the University of Milan, where I am focusing on assurance evaluation of AI models. My thesis aims to define and implement assurance checks for AI models to ensure compliance with the European AI Act. I am passionate about the intersection of AI and cybersecurity, particularly in ensuring the robustness and fairness of machine learning applications.

In addition to my master's studies, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Systems and Network Security from the same university. My academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in cybersecurity principles and practices, and I have engaged in various projects that emphasize the importance of security in network communications.

I have gained practical experience as a Research Assistant at SesarLab, where I am involved in integrating trustworthy AI into public sector infrastructures. My work focuses on MLOps practices and the assurance of cloud-based systems, ensuring reliability and security in distributed environments.

I have also worked as a Water Polo Instructor and Lifeguard, which has helped me develop strong leadership and communication skills. My freelance work in graphic design for a crypto community has allowed me to explore creative avenues while applying my technical skills.

I am continuously seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills, currently enrolled in the HuggingFace ML Games Course, which focuses on leveraging large language models in game development. I am eager to contribute to innovative projects that address real-world challenges in cybersecurity and AI.
