Full-Stack Software Engineer

• Platform Development and Maintenance: Develop and maintain features for the company’s core platform, which delivers oil & gas data intelligence compiled by data science and analytics teams to clients and internal users.
• Full Lifecycle Contribution: Contribute to the full development lifecycle, from conception and implementation to deployment and maintenance of platform functionalities for both administrators and clients.
• Agile Practices and Collaboration: Actively participate in agile ceremonies (daily standups, backlog grooming, knowledge sharing) within a customized Scrum framework in a remote, global team environment.
• Technical Contribution & Technologies: Utilize technologies including Ruby on Rails, React, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Jenkins for platform development, and contribute to ETL processes using SQL and Bash.

• Technical Leadership: I lead a team of six developers, guiding them in architectural decisions and promoting a collaborative and empathetic work environment. Currently spearheading the migration of our main platform from MEAN stack to Ruby on Rails 7. I hold regular meetings to discuss project progress and resolve technical issues. End-to-End
• Development: I am responsible for the complete implementation of features, from initial conception and design to final deployment.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: I implemented monitoring solutions to detect critical system failures, improving system availability and operation.
• Software Architecture: I designed and maintained the architecture for various areas of the platform, applying solid object-oriented principles and using both relational and non-relational databases.
