IT Analyst/Desktop Engineer

I am an experienced IT professional with a strong background in troubleshooting and configuring hardware and software across various platforms. My expertise extends to network infrastructure management, where I am skilled in Layer 1 and Layer 2 connectivity, VLAN configurations, VoIP setups, and subnetting. I am proficient in IP addressing, routing protocols such as OSPF and RIP, and network troubleshooting. Additionally, I have experience managing security policies and device enrollment through Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Azure, and Entra ID.

Operating system deployment is another area where I excel, adept at imaging and configuring devices with Windows, Linux, and macOS. I utilize automation and scripting skills, particularly with PowerShell and Python, to streamline tasks such as network automation and system monitoring. My familiarity with REST API integration allows me to develop and utilize APIs for system integrations and automation workflows.

I have hands-on experience in data center operations, managing Ethernet and fiber networks, racking, cabling infrastructure, and ensuring high availability environments. Collaboration across IT domains is a key aspect of my work, as I have experience working with security, data analytics, and app development teams to deliver comprehensive solutions. I am also capable of leading development and quality assurance processes to ensure system reliability and performance.

In my current role as an IT Analyst/Desktop Engineer Level 1 at MV Transportation, I troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage network servers, and collaborate with various IT teams. I have also worked as an IT Analyst at Integer Telecom Services, where I conducted PIM analysis and developed ETL solutions. My internship as a Web Developer allowed me to work through the software development life cycle, building applications that improved efficiency for users.

I hold a Master’s in Technology Management from Lindsey Wilson College and have obtained several certifications, including the Google Cybersecurity Certificate and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate. I am always eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and infrastructure deployments.
