About

Professional summary

I am an analytical researcher–lecturer with over 3 years of experience designing experimental software pipelines, collecting large-scale datasets, and translating results into peer-reviewable insight. My work bridges computer graphics, 5G networking, and data science, focusing on energy-efficient Gaussian-Splat rendering and VR surgical-training analytics. I also develop secure evidence-streaming stacks for national CoSTAR labs. In the classroom, I lead over 250 students across algorithms, GPU & network programming, and Python-driven data analysis while supervising honours theses and national projects. Currently, I am living in Brig, Switzerland, and seeking a research-focused appointment within academia or R&D-intensive industry.

Foundation Lecturer in Computer Science Abertay University

Meticulously developed and delivered interdisciplinary teaching material, deep diving in a multitude of computing and programming subjects, including: Data Structures and Algorithms in C++ and Python. Engine, Graphics Programming, Gameplay and Networking development in C++. Linux/Windows Scripting and Computer Architecture. Statistical Analytics. Acquired extensive expertise in computer hardware and software by collaborating with leading researchers, ensuring seamless integration and troubleshooting across a wide range of systems. Researched and developed proof of concepts in: Ethical Hacking, Linux development and Networking Programming. Developed a Linux Client-Server architecture to re-image multiple systems, with particular attention to efficiency, using Tiny Core. Developed an Android teaching module for third year and postgraduate students. Supervised and lead 250+ Master’s, Honours and Bachelor’s Students. Built energy efficient tracking pipeline to investigate a greener alternative to traditional rendering (Gaussian Splatting over Mesh-Based). Developed networked VR Surgical Training tool in UE5, focusing on connection seamlessness, collisions efficiency, hardware optimisation and modular architecture.

Teaching Assistant Abertay University

Researched and developed multiple emerging technologies as part of the National CoSTAR laboratories including: VR Networking Development, Gaussian Splatting in Unreal Engine 5 and Python. Motion Capture and Virtual Production multi-machine development. Low-level game engine programming in C++. Statistical data analysis for software and hardware energy consumption among emerging technologies using Python and Linux, exploiting AI statistics models. Lead interdisciplinary national team environments to provide academical, professional and social support. Installed, imaged and configured leading Virtual Production hardware and software.
