Software Engineer

Hey there, If you're looking for an experienced software engineer with over a decade of experience, stop looking you just found him. Long story short, since the beginning of my career, I've worked as a digital nomad living abroad. Always working as a full-time contractor, constantly learning and evolving. I like to say that if you're the smartest person in the room, it's time to change the room. If you're serious about my application, pay attention to my most recent experiences. AI development: Due to the hype, I must say I was playing with this long before it was cool. But I have to admit, GPT helps a lot. I'm not perfect in Python, which is why, to maintain a performant data pipeline, I prefer using a hybrid C# / Python combo. Over the years, I've developed several projects, such as: Eye detection, Audio fingerprinting, Diarization system, Transcription system, Custom LLM agents, and Reinforcement Learning experiments. My current AI side project involves deep neural network analysis of the limit order book to predict short-term price movements of crypto assets. I plan to apply this for high-frequency trading in the coming months. Deployment is planned on AWS in Singapore to minimize latency to the broker API. Web development: For web development, I'm fully capable of reusing an existing frontend codebase, but I feel most comfortable as a backend engineer where I thrive. During the course of the years, I was working on monolithic and distributed web app platforms. In every case, I became the core engineer, as I like to have a deep understanding first. Desktop development: My desktop experiences are rich, probably more than I ever thought they would be. I have a lot of experience with WPF, but as of now, I prefer Avalonia UI for desktops, as their stable API brings more peace to my mind.
