International Business Negotiator

I am an International Business Negotiator with a specialization in Finance Management and over 8 years of experience working in a private equity investment fund. Throughout my career, I have been deeply involved in financial analysis of investments and the creation of financial reports for tax purposes, managing more than 150 portfolios. For the past 3+ years, I have served as the property accountant for 5 commercial properties in the South Florida market.

I am passionate about financial markets and investments, always eager to learn quickly about topics that interest me. I excel at working both independently and collaboratively within teams, capable of receiving instructions as well as managing personnel effectively. My experience spans accounting responsibilities including accounts payable and receivable, banking reconciliations, and preparation of detailed financial reports.

Currently, I work as a Commercial Property Accountant at Midtown Capital Partners in Miami, Florida, where I handle day-to-day accounting for commercial properties, including CAM reconciliation, insurance and real estate tax prepayments, and monthly sales tax calculations. I utilize software such as Yardi Voyager and Yardi Elevate to streamline these processes.

Previously, I managed accounting for over 150 residential properties in the Miami-Dade market, preparing financial reports using Quickbooks and Propertyware. My role as a Financial Analyst involved creating tax-related financial reports, bank reconciliations, and preparing monthly and quarterly investor reports. My internship performance led to continued employment with the company, including remote work from Medellín, Colombia.

I hold a Double Title as a Financial Specialist and a Master’s in Financial Management from Universidad EAFIT, as well as a degree in International Business. I am fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, which supports my ability to network with investors in American and European markets. I am committed to achieving yearly goals and delivering timely financial reports to support tax return processes.
