Professional summary

I am an aspiring computer science professional with a lifelong interest in computers and coding. I am proficient in several programming languages including C++, Java, C#, Python, and have experience with game development engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine. I am a proven team player who enjoys collaborating in group environments to accomplish tasks efficiently. My natural curiosity drives me to understand how things work, and I am an assertive learner always eager to expand my knowledge.

I am hardworking, dependable, and trustworthy, willing to put in long hours to meet goals and deadlines. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, with an expected graduation date of December 2025. My concentration is in Game Design, and I have completed coursework in operating systems, computer architecture, data structures, computer graphics, algorithms, and physics.

I have practical experience developing games and software through various projects. For example, I programmed a first-person shooter game called HyperPOP using Unreal Engine 5, where I developed explosion and ragdoll physics, UI components, and performed debugging and voice acting. I also worked on Chefscapades, a party game involving UI and multiplayer implementation, and served as pitch lead and programmer for a turn-based RPG called Hold on Tight, where I developed combat and dialogue systems and led a team.

In addition to my academic projects, I have work experience as a website developer, where I built front-end and back-end code using HTML and JavaScript for a shop website hosted on AWS. I have also worked in food service roles, gaining valuable teamwork and multitasking skills. Furthermore, I have investment internship experience involving research and analysis of stock investments.

I have participated in leadership roles such as student council and student ambassador positions, which helped me develop collaboration and organizational skills. My CliftonStrengths assessment highlights my hardworking nature, problem-solving abilities, visionary mindset, inclusiveness, and creativity. I am eager to start my career in a full-time position that aligns with my education and passion for technology and game design.
