I am Swapnil Khare, a passionate software engineer with a strong foundation in computer science and engineering. Currently, I am pursuing my M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, which I expect to complete by December 2024. Prior to this, I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the Institute of Technology, Nirma University in India.
My professional experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, where I specialized in backend services optimization, API development, and workflow automation. I successfully enhanced enterprise-level applications using RESTful APIs, PowerApps, and Power Automate, which improved system efficiency and reduced manual effort significantly. I also contributed to scalable backend architecture design and improved system reliability by managing access controls and resolving backend issues.
During my internship at Innovatics, I worked on integrating advanced emotion detection models into chatbot platforms using state-of-the-art NLP techniques such as BERT, GPT-3, and T5. I also developed AI models that improved prediction accuracy by optimizing data preprocessing and semantic lemmatization.
I have developed several projects including an intelligent Wikipedia chatbot hosted on Google Cloud Platform, a deep learning-based helmet detection system with high accuracy, and clickstream data analysis for website user behavior using Google Analytics and Power BI. Additionally, I implemented reinforcement learning techniques to enhance agent exploration in gaming environments.
My technical skills span multiple programming languages including Python, Java, SQL, and DotNet, and I am proficient in backend development frameworks like Flask and FastAPI. I have hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP, microservices architecture, real-time data processing, and machine learning frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras. I am also skilled in data wrangling, ETL pipelines, scalable system design, and database management with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
