I am Asiye Jafarpour, a seasoned professional with over 21 years of experience in procurement, commercial, and project management within the energy and engineering sectors. Throughout my career, I have developed a strong expertise in supervising engineering, procurement, and construction projects, ensuring their successful execution and timely delivery. I have held leadership roles, including my current position as Head of Commercial & Tender Departments at Middle East Energy Development Consulting Engineers.
My responsibilities have encompassed managing large-scale projects such as pipelines, pump houses, refineries, and gas compressor stations, working closely with national oil and gas companies. I am skilled in vendor sourcing, bid evaluation, negotiation, and contract management, which have been critical in driving project success and cost efficiency.
I have also gained extensive experience in preparing RFQs, coordinating technical and commercial bid evaluations, and expediting construction activities. My previous roles as Senior Buyer and Buyer & Expeditor have strengthened my ability to manage procurement processes and maintain strong supplier relationships.
In addition to my professional skills, I am proficient in various computer applications including Photoshop, MS Project, Excel, CorelDRAW, Word, and PowerPoint, which support my project management and commercial duties. I am fluent in Farsi and have good written and spoken English skills, enabling effective communication in international environments.
