Junior Data Scientist / Data Analyst

I am an M.Sc. Artificial Intelligence Engineering student with a background in Computer Science and international trade. I turn raw data into actionable models, analyses, and business-oriented decisions using Python, SQL, and visualization tools.

I specialize in exploratory data analysis, data cleaning, preprocessing, statistical testing, feature engineering, predictive modeling, and model evaluation. I enjoy comparing models rigorously and communicating findings through clear reports and dashboards.

I have built machine learning projects involving classification, customer segmentation, NLP, local LLM applications, genetic algorithms, and speech disorder detection. In an academic-success prediction project, I evaluated seven model families and developed a stacked ensemble reaching 83.53% cross-validation accuracy on more than 76,000 records.

I also created a customer segmentation study using Self-Organizing Maps and K-means, translating behavioral clusters into practical recommendations. My scam-message detector project combined a local Gemma LLM with rule-based signals and supported Turkish, Arabic, and English text.

I work with Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, scikit-learn, and modern machine learning libraries. I am actively seeking data scientist, data analyst, internship, and junior-level opportunities, including remote roles and relocation opportunities.
