I am a dedicated and versatile worker with extensive experience in culinary arts, construction, and industrial safety operations. Over the years, I have proven my ability to lead teams, manage schedules, and maintain compliance with food safety and occupational health standards. I am reliable, adaptable, and not afraid of hard work, skilled in both hands-on labor and management-level coordination.
My career began in kitchen and management roles where I managed kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and order scheduling. I oversaw cash handling, till balancing, and phone orders, created weekly food and grocery orders, and supervised and trained kitchen staff. I also handled scheduling, hiring, and layoffs while maintaining food safety standards and time management efficiency.
I completed a condensed culinary arts course at The Art Institute of Vancouver, specializing in food preparation, safety, and kitchen management. Following this, I worked as a second chef handling menu creation, cost control, and staff scheduling, ensuring HACCP and food safety compliance.
In addition to my culinary experience, I have worked in construction and renovation roles, assisting with stucco and parging application, basement renovations, framing, demolition, and concrete work. I have also worked in industrial safety roles on mining projects, conducting spark watch, confined space entry, air quality monitoring, and H2S detection, holding multiple safety certifications.
I am a fast learner, dependable under pressure, physically strong, and capable of long hours and demanding work. I hold a valid driver’s license and am committed to maintaining high standards in all my work environments.
