International Project Manager

I am an International Project Manager with over 20 years of experience specializing in sustainable development and strategic partnerships. Throughout my career, I have focused on international project management, collaborating closely with civil society organizations, and resource mobilization. My work has allowed me to develop extensive expertise in leadership, sustainability strategy development, and organizing impactful global events.

Currently, I serve as a Development Leader at the Uppsala Climate Protocol, where I coordinate an international network aimed at emission reduction and sustainability. I develop collaborative projects between businesses, institutions, and civil society, and organize events and training programs focused on sustainability and climate change. Some of my key projects include KlimatGott, which achieved a 30% emission reduction in restaurants through training and sustainability strategies, and Klimatdriven företagsutveckling, an EU-funded project on energy efficiency and sustainable transport.

Previously, I worked as an Environmental and Quality Manager at BIG BAG AB, where I implemented and certified environmental management systems (ISO 14001) and developed corporate sustainability and social responsibility strategies. I also served as General Secretary at the Swedish-Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Madrid, where I developed strategic alliances between companies and institutions in Sweden and Spain, organized over 400 networking, sustainability, and leadership events, and expanded membership working with companies like Ericsson, IKEA, and Volvo.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and am currently pursuing a Master in Communication for Development at Malmö University. I have also completed various trainings and certifications, including environmental management according to ISO 14001:2015 and quality management according to ISO 9001:2015.

I am fluent in Swedish, English, and Spanish, with basic knowledge of French. I am passionate about sustainability and international cooperation, having volunteered in Nepal and participated in UN forums on water and sustainability in Stockholm. I am committed to driving positive environmental and social change through strategic program management and partnerships.
