I am a Licensed Professional Engineer with extensive experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, coastal processes, flood risk analysis, and climate resilience planning. My background is strengthened by an MBA, which has equipped me with skills in budgeting, grant development, and cross-functional coordination. Over the years, I have contributed to various projects involving watershed modeling, flood risk reduction, and regulatory compliance.
I have worked in diverse roles, including senior staff professional positions where I developed advanced 2D HEC-RAS rainfall-on-grid models for both site-scale and multi-county analyses. My expertise also includes conducting riverine and coastal analyses to support FEMA map revisions and evaluating coastal streams and bluffs for stabilization purposes.
In addition to my engineering roles, I have experience managing budgets and capital improvement projects as a treasurer for a condominium association. I have also worked as a civil designer focusing on bridges, waterways, and drainage systems using tools like Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and MicroStation.
My technical skills extend to wave and sediment transport modeling using software such as Delft3D, SWAN, XBeach, and GENESIS, complemented by field sampling and drone-based coastal surveys. Earlier in my career, I gained quality assurance experience in healthcare IT, leading training and managing analytics server implementations.
I am certified as a Professional Engineer in Wisconsin, hold a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and am a licensed FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot. I am proficient in Spanish at a professional level and continuously seek to apply my multidisciplinary skills to projects that enhance environmental resilience and infrastructure sustainability.
