Data Engineer

I am a dedicated Data Engineer with extensive experience designing and implementing data solutions that enhance business operations and ensure data quality. Over the years, I have worked on diverse projects including the development of technical architectures for AI-based chatbots, ETL pipelines, and BI dashboards. My passion lies in leveraging data engineering tools and cloud platforms to build scalable and efficient data systems.

In my current role as a Consultant at Genuide S.A., I designed the technical architecture and cost estimates for a legal chatbot based on generative AI, incorporating web scraping, data processing, language models, APIs, frontend, and deployment. I also translated and adapted technical courses to facilitate knowledge transfer and practical AI exposure.

Previously, I worked as a Data Engineer at Banco Bolivariano, where I designed and implemented data validation and ETL pipelines to ensure consistency between on-premise and cloud data. I automated data quality checks using Medallion architecture and developed BI solutions with Streamlit and Power BI for real-time dashboards and automated reporting.

My experience also includes working as an Associate Developer and QA Tester at Genuide S.A., where I contributed to ETL projects under Agile methodology, ensuring data compliance with regulatory standards. I developed PL/SQL programs and maintained financial status queries and stored procedures for banking core systems.

I have a strong foundation in programming languages such as Python, PL/SQL, Java, and Visual Basic, and I am proficient with data engineering tools like Spark, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory. My expertise extends to cloud platforms, data modeling, architecture, and quality assurance testing.
