Industrial Engineer

I am an Industrial Engineer with experience in internal audit and business process analysis within the energy sector. I specialize in evaluating operational workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and documenting AS-IS processes to provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement. My expertise includes KPI tracking, contract compliance, risk and control assessment, and process optimization across billing, energy procurement, HSEQ, and contractor management.

I have a strong analytical mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. I am skilled at presenting insights and findings to senior stakeholders to support informed decision-making. Currently, I work as an Internal Audit Analyst focusing on process and internal control improvements.

In my role, I analyze contractor penalty and fine management processes, evaluate billing workflows, and develop risk and control matrices to enhance operational visibility. I monitor KPIs related to contract compliance and process performance and assess HSEQ incident management processes to identify improvement opportunities.

I also support audits of regulated energy procurement processes, assist in investigating internal complaints, and prepare executive reports that include root cause analysis and actionable improvement plans. My experience as an Audit Intern helped me develop skills in documenting workflows, analyzing operational procedures, and supporting process standardization initiatives.

I am continuously enhancing my skills through education, currently pursuing a diploma in Data Analysis, and have completed certifications such as the Scrum Foundation Professional Certification. I am fluent in Spanish and have advanced proficiency in English.
