I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Ottawa, where I am gaining hands-on experience in laboratory settings. I have been actively involved in preparing chemical solutions, conducting compound analysis, and maintaining strict safety and procedural compliance in the lab. My attention to detail and organizational skills ensure that all data documentation and equipment calibration are performed accurately.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I have volunteered extensively in my community, supporting program coordination and events at Restoration House in Hamilton. I take pride in building positive relationships and maintaining welcoming environments for children and families. These experiences have enhanced my communication skills and professionalism.
I have also contributed as a Prom Committee Member and Student Ambassador at Hamilton District Christian High School, where I developed leadership and teamwork abilities. My role as a caregiver at Milgrove Children’s Center involved planning and leading structured activities, ensuring safety, and collaborating with team members to meet individual needs.
My academic achievements include being recognized as an Ontario Scholar and receiving the Academic Plaque Award during my high school years. I am committed to continuous learning and applying my scientific knowledge in practical settings.
I am eager to further develop my skills in biochemistry and contribute effectively in laboratory environments, while also engaging in community service and leadership roles.
