I am a Business Informatics graduate from the University of Costa Rica, recognized for my high academic performance. I have experience developing administrative systems, database modeling, and business process automation solutions. My focus is on backend development and database systems, where I have gained expertise in business logic, access control, SQL optimization, and information management for web applications.
During my academic career, I have worked as a Database Administration Course Assistant, where I developed and optimized SQL and PL/SQL queries, provided technical support in Oracle Database practices, and assisted in relational database modeling and query optimization. This role helped me deepen my understanding of database structures and distributed databases.
I have contributed to several relevant projects, including an IT Risk Management System where I developed a web platform for technological risk management using Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Prisma ORM, and Docker. I implemented authentication modules, role-based access control, and backend validations to ensure secure information management.
Another project I worked on was a Parking and Inventory Management System, where I designed business logic for stock control, payments, invoicing, and automated email notifications. I also designed relational databases with complex relationships and process automation.
Additionally, I completed an internship focused on web optimization and digital processes at Il Viaggio Travel. There, I implemented functional improvements using WordPress, collaborated with clients to enhance content management and user experience, and participated in website optimization and administration.
I am certified in Scrum Fundamentals and currently pursuing a Cybersecurity Certification. I am fluent in Spanish and have intermediate proficiency in English. I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge in backend development and database management to contribute effectively to future projects and professional environments.
