I am a dedicated Chemical Engineering student at Arizona State University with a strong focus on sustainable biochemical systems for carbon utilization and climate-resilient food production. My research emphasizes dietary-restriction–responsive product development and scalable bioprocess design, aiming to contribute to innovative solutions in environmental and food sciences.
Currently, I work as a Laboratory Researcher at Arizona State University, where I develop and optimize chloroplast isolation protocols to support extracellular CO₂ reduction systems and glucose polymerization pathways. I design and conduct experiments to evaluate system stability, metabolic activity, and carbon fixation efficiency, performing quantitative data analysis to improve reproducibility and yield.
I have been selected for the competitive Funded Undergraduate Research Initiative (FURI) where I designed and executed an independent research project under faculty mentorship. This experience has honed my skills in experimental methodology, including controls, optimization strategies, and statistical analysis, culminating in a presentation at the Fulton Forge Research Symposium.
In addition to research, I have served as a Laboratory Assistant supporting experimental design, data collection, and safety compliance. I also contribute academically as a grader for chemical engineering coursework and as a Supplemental Instruction Leader in Sociology, facilitating collaborative learning environments to improve student performance.
My professional experience includes leadership roles in food service, where I managed team operations and ensured compliance with food safety standards. I am an active member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, continuously seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge and impact in the field.
