Configure VLANs, subnets, and firewall rules to segregate surveillance traffic from general network traffic, implementing security best practices to protect video feeds and prevent unauthorized access to camera systems. Work with IT teams to integrate surveillance systems with existing network infrastructure, coordinating IP address schemes, port forwarding, and remote access configurations while adhering to organizational network policies and security standards. Monitor network performance metrics related to surveillance operations, optimizing Quality of Service (QoS) settings and bandwidth management to ensure consistent video quality across all cameras without impacting other critical network services.
