AI and Data Professional

I am an AI and data professional with a Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence from VU Amsterdam and practical experience in building data pipelines, machine learning models, and analytical solutions for concrete operational challenges. During my internships at IKEA/Ingka Digital and Accenture, I learned how to transform data into decisions that truly matter. I am eager to work in an environment where I can rapidly grow by building, testing, and improving solutions.

My programming skills include Python (with pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib), SQL, and Git. I have experience with machine learning and AI tools such as scikit-learn, PyTorch (basic), feature engineering, model evaluation, and prompt engineering. I am also proficient in data visualization and business intelligence tools like Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, and dashboard creation.

I have applied geospatial analysis techniques using QGIS, GeoPandas, and spatial analysis methods. Additionally, I am familiar with tools such as Jupyter, VS Code, and Excel. My work experience includes internships where I contributed to data and analytics projects, including building Python pipelines for large-scale logistics datasets and developing Power BI dashboards to support daily operational decision-making.

In my role at Ingka Digital, I performed geospatial analyses of warehouse reach and demand patterns across the Netherlands and collaborated in cross-functional teams with colleagues from supply chain, digital, and operations departments. My thesis research at Accenture focused on optimizing vehicle routing for electric vehicles by integrating bio-inspired algorithms and cognitive frameworks, applying machine learning and bio-inspired optimization techniques to real routing problems.

Alongside my studies, I have worked part-time in fulfillment operations at IKEA, gaining operational knowledge that informed my later internship work. I am also an active member of a student investment society, where I analyze company results and investment opportunities. I am fluent in Dutch and English, with basic knowledge of German and elementary Spanish. I am motivated to continue developing my skills and contribute to impactful data-driven projects.
