Software Engineer

I am a recent graduate software engineer with a solid academic foundation in problem-solving and software development. I am competent in a variety of web technologies and programming languages, and I have a strong desire to constantly learn new things, write clean code, and advance in a setting that fosters professional development. During my internship as a Frontend Developer at Scramblebit, I developed responsive user interfaces using React, implemented reusable components, and improved UI performance. I also integrated frontend with REST APIs, fixed UI bugs, and enhanced user experience while collaborating closely with designers and backend developers.

My academic journey at Ankara Atilim University, where I am pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, has equipped me with a strong theoretical and practical background. I have worked on projects such as an AI-Powered Trip Planner Application, where I developed a full-stack travel planning app that generates personalized itineraries using AI, integrated third-party travel APIs, implemented budget optimization, and built scalable REST APIs with a responsive React/React Native frontend. I followed Scrum methodology and applied testing to ensure performance and reliability.

Additionally, I designed a Library Management System featuring a relational SQL database with ER modeling, table relationships, complex queries including JOIN, GROUP BY, and subqueries, as well as a fine management system. My technical skills include Python, C, C++, HTML, CSS, data structures, software development, and React. I also possess soft skills such as problem solving, teamwork, and critical thinking.

I am fluent in Somali, Arabic, and English, which allows me to communicate effectively in diverse environments. I am eager to contribute my skills and grow professionally in a challenging software engineering role. I am committed to delivering high-quality code and collaborating effectively within teams to achieve project goals.
