I am a highly experienced and qualified Ph.D. professional specializing in food safety, with over 24 years of expertise in food inspection laboratories focusing on microbiology, chemical, and residual analysis. Throughout my career, I have developed strong skills in inspection and training related to ISO 17025 technical requirements and food production processes. I am adept at managing large teams, analyzing and investigating food safety issues, and resolving complex challenges within food testing systems.
My technical expertise includes food processing and analytical techniques such as PCR, ELISA, spectrophotometry, and atomic absorption spectrophotometry. I am capable of identifying and solving complex food safety challenges and have extensive experience in writing research papers and publishing in both local and international scientific journals.
Currently, I serve as an Assistant Professor and Senior Researcher at the Food Inspection Laboratory, Food Safety Department, Animal Health Research Institute in Damietta, Egypt. I conduct chemical and microbiological tests for various food samples, focusing on detection, isolation, and identification of foodborne pathogens. I continuously improve my subject knowledge through thorough research and training.
In addition to my research role, I am the Technical Manager for Food Safety at the same institute, where I oversee ISO 17025 technical requirements, develop methods, evaluate test results, and train analysts on new applied methods.
