Systems & Infrastructure Administrator

I am a systems and infrastructure administrator with over 10 years of experience working across Windows Server and Linux environments, enterprise networking, and virtualization. I specialize in operating and troubleshooting undocumented production systems built by others, rapidly modeling unfamiliar environments to isolate and resolve failures under pressure. I administer Active Directory and multi-generation Windows Server fleets, design VLAN-segmented and multi-site SD-WAN networks, and run a complete self-hosted Linux/Docker infrastructure stack end to end across more than 100 business environments.

Currently, I am the Owner and Lead Systems Engineer at Effitech IT Solutions, where I design, deploy, and maintain self-hosted infrastructure stacks using Proxmox and Docker, including reverse proxy, mail servers, CRM, invoicing, and remote support solutions. I architect segmented networks, DNS, and off-site backup systems with continuous monitoring and alerting, delivering managed services such as backup, monitoring, and infrastructure support to small-business clients. Additionally, I build and ship cross-platform mobile applications under the LiT Applications brand.

Previously, I worked as an IT Support Specialist at Maloney Telecom, administering Active Directory and mixed-generation Windows Server environments across 100+ business clients. I diagnosed and resolved failures in undocumented production environments, designed and maintained VLAN-segmented networks and multi-site SD-WAN connectivity, and provided onsite and remote support while translating complex technical issues for non-technical stakeholders.

I also have experience as a Computer Teacher, where I taught computer skills and technology fundamentals to K–8 students, and as an Installer/Technician deploying point-to-point wireless broadband systems for business and residential customers. Earlier in my career, I worked as an educator integrating technology into classroom instruction and mentoring staff and student teachers.

My technical skills include Windows Server (2012–2022), Linux (Ubuntu, Debian), Active Directory, Microsoft 365 administration, LAN/WAN routing, VLAN segmentation, SD-WAN, Proxmox, Hyper-V, Docker, reverse proxy servers, mail server administration, CRM systems, monitoring and backup tools, remote support, and version control with Git.
