Backend Developer Junior

I am a junior backend developer specialized in REST APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. I have a technical background in computer science and am currently pursuing studies in Systems Engineering. My experience includes modular architecture, JWT authentication, and working with relational databases using Prisma. I am an active freelancer developing websites for local businesses.

My technical skills cover backend technologies such as Node.js, Express, TypeScript, NestJS, and Socket.io. I am proficient with databases including PostgreSQL, Prisma, and MongoDB. I also have experience with security implementations like JWT, refresh tokens, bcrypt, and role-based permissions. On the frontend, I work with React, Vite, and Tailwind CSS.

I am familiar with development tools such as Git, GitHub, Docker, Vercel, Railway, Postman, and Jest. I speak native Spanish and have technical proficiency in English at an A2 level.

I have developed several projects including a fullstack e-commerce platform featuring a complete REST API with catalog, carts, orders, and an admin panel. This project includes role-based authentication, a payment system using the Strategy pattern, and real-time stock updates with Socket.io. I deployed this project using Vercel and Railway.

Additionally, I built a helpdesk ticket system backend with feature-based architecture and business rules by state, implementing JWT authentication and role management with persistence in PostgreSQL. As a freelancer, I design and develop landing pages and websites for local businesses, proactively acquiring clients.

My work experience includes freelance network technician and installer, where I handle installation and configuration of networks including Starlink, routers, and IP cameras, along with client support and diagnostics. I have also worked as a retail stock clerk and as a private tutor for technical secondary school subjects.
