Project Manager
About Me
I am a motivated student and emerging project leader with experience coordinating engineering work, supporting research, and tutoring students in STEM subjects. I have developed strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills through hands-on involvement in team-based technical projects and academic support roles.
In my current role as Project Manager for the NELL Engineering Team through Northrop Grumman's High School Involvement program, I lead a four-person engineering team. I coordinate task delegation, timelines, and subsystem integration while helping guide coding, modeling, and systems alignment to meet design requirements.
I also interned at the Child Mind Institute in Los Angeles, where I supported youth mental health research. My work included data collection, cleaning, and analysis, as well as helping design and evaluate intervention programs that could inform evidence-based recommendations for community impact.
Outside of formal work, I tutor students in Algebra through Calculus II for 20 hours per week. I adapt my instruction to different learning needs, including students with ADHD, and create individualized lesson plans and practice exercises to help them build confidence and improve performance in STEM.
I have also pursued computer science and engineering projects, including designing and building a GTA-inspired Roblox game from scratch for a STEM Expo. This project strengthened my ability to research, test, refine, and present technical work in a clear and engaging way.
Academically, I am studying mathematics at Antelope Valley College and have earned Dean's List recognition with a strong GPA. I bring a blend of technical curiosity, analytical thinking, and collaborative leadership that I continue to apply across school, work, and extracurricular activities.
