Backend Developer

I am a backend developer with hands-on experience building production REST APIs, integrations, automations, asynchronous workflows, and SaaS services. I work primarily with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and related backend technologies to connect systems and process reliable multi-step workflows.

I focus on designing and maintaining API-driven solutions, including webhooks, JSON-based request and response flows, and event-driven architectures. I have practical experience with RabbitMQ, Redis, workers, retries, scheduling, and dead-letter handling to support resilient backend systems.

I also use generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and OpenAI Codex to accelerate analysis and implementation. I rely on prompt iteration, structured context, and critical output validation to ensure the quality of generated code and technical decisions.

My experience includes debugging integrations through logs, API responses, configurations, and system outputs, as well as documenting technical decisions and supporting code reviews. I am comfortable collaborating across development and product workflows and contributing to CI/CD, Docker, AWS EC2, Linux deployments, and production incident resolution.

In addition to my current backend work, I have freelance experience building APIs, backend integrations, and data-driven applications using Java/Spring Boot, C#/.NET Core, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server. I have also worked on embedded systems automation projects using C and MicroPython.

I am currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Information Systems at IFBA, with expected graduation in December 2026. I am based in Vitória da Conquista, Brazil, and I am available for remote work.
