Anthropologist

I am an anthropologist with experience in laboratory work, geotechnical testing, archaeology, sustainability, and project coordination. I have developed a strong attention to detail through hands-on technical and research-based roles.

I worked as a Laboratory Technician at Excel Geotechnical Company, where I performed ASTM geotechnical testing, maintained sample logs, entered data, and helped organize laboratory workflows and documentation procedures. This role strengthened my technical accuracy and record-keeping skills.

I also participated in an Archaeological Field School, where I conducted field excavation and documentation, performed soil analysis and artifact identification, and logged, processed, and photographed archaeological materials. This experience gave me practical field research exposure and reinforced my interest in anthropology.

In addition, I served as Director of Sustainability and Chief of Staff at Kennesaw State University Student Government. In that role, I developed sustainability volunteer initiatives, created a scholarship program for student interns, designed and managed an internship program, and collaborated with university leadership on sustainable dining initiatives.

I have also worked as a Gemologist at DJX Incorporated, where I conducted gemstone identification and grading, evaluated gemstone origin and characteristics, and assisted with sales operations. This added another layer of analytical and customer-facing experience to my background.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from Kennesaw State University and have relevant coursework in field research and lab work. I speak English and Spanish, and I bring a combination of research, laboratory, sustainability, and leadership experience to my professional profile.
