Software Developer

I am Ioannis Michadasis, a Computer Science student and software developer with a strong focus on full stack development, cross-platform applications, and practical problem solving. I enjoy building tools that remove friction for users and improve everyday workflows.

My experience includes volunteer software development work for open source and student organizations, where I contributed to university-facing platforms and helped automate repetitive tasks. I have worked on projects that improved access to software, enhanced portal usability, and reduced manual effort for students.

I have built several full stack and desktop/mobile applications using technologies such as Next.js, React, React Native, FastAPI, Electron, Prisma, MySQL, and TypeScript. My work often combines frontend usability with backend reliability, authentication, and structured data handling.

I am especially interested in creating production-ready systems with clean architecture, role-based access control, and scalable integrations. I have experience developing applications for staff management, health-related calculations, music launching, and Discord moderation.

Alongside web and app development, I am comfortable working with a broad technical stack that includes Python, Java, C, C++, Bash, Git, Linux, and modern database tools. I also have experience with PDF scraping, API design, and cross-platform desktop development.

I am a native Greek speaker with advanced English proficiency, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Science at the University of Western Macedonia. I am eager to continue growing as a software engineer and contributing to impactful technical projects.
