About

Professional summary

I am a software engineer with 30 years of experience building scalable systems across mobile, web, and enterprise platforms. My background combines technical leadership, architecture, cross-team coordination, and mentorship, with a strong focus on delivering business impact through practical innovation.

I currently work with AI and agentic development in a production environment at consumer scale. I use tools like Claude and Claude Code as part of daily workflows, and I help teams understand where these systems are effective, where they need verification, and where they still struggle.

My recent work has centered on Android engineering and platform architecture. I led the adoption of AI coding agents within the Android team, architected a centralized analytics library for a large legacy codebase, and helped drive modularization and best practices across the engineering organization.

I have also built and supported customer-facing features such as Scan&Ship, search redesigns, and deep-linking architecture. In addition, I mentor engineers on Kotlin adoption, architecture, and development standards, and I have reduced onboarding time through documentation and knowledge sharing.

Earlier in my career, I worked across backend, web, and infrastructure projects in a wide range of environments. I designed systems for payments, databases, IoT integrations, and high-volume transaction platforms, and I have experience with technologies including Python, Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, C#, SQL, Ruby, Android, React, Node.js, and ASP.NET.

Beyond my engineering work, I am a patent holder and open-source contributor. I co-founded Fluent Migrator for .NET and have contributed to innovations in domain registration, email systems, and platform architecture. I value building systems that scale, helping teams adopt emerging technologies effectively, and creating long-term technical leverage.
