I am an APM-PMQ accredited IT Project Manager specialising in the end-to-end delivery of data and platform projects across UK central government. I currently lead a portfolio of integration projects worth up to £1.5m for DEFRA, where I support the delivery of a national livestock-tracing data service and coordinate data engineering, platform, and reporting workstreams.
I work closely with DevOps and engineering teams to align releases and environment readiness with project milestones. I also manage delivery reporting through Power BI KPI dashboards, maintain integrated plans and RAID logs, and help keep stakeholders aligned on priorities, risks, and dependencies.
A key part of my role is governance and control. I lead data governance for the service, including RACI ownership, GDPR compliance, and risk management, and I established the project SharePoint site as a single source of truth for documentation, runbooks, decision logs, and budget records.
Before moving into project management, I built a strong foundation in the Criminal Investigation Department, where I managed 30+ concurrent investigations under externally imposed deadlines. That experience strengthened my ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, produce evidence-grade documentation, manage risk, and make decisions under pressure.
I am results-focused and committed to continuous improvement. I have also redesigned the Business Case Assurance Process for higher-value projects and embedded it across DDTS, improving governance across the directorate.
I am a native English and Spanish speaker with working French, and I am open to remote opportunities from Murcia, Spain.
