Software Engineer

I am a backend and cloud software engineer with more than 3 years of experience building production-grade serverless and distributed systems on AWS. I focus on high-performance, secure REST APIs and event-driven architectures, and I enjoy owning systems end-to-end from infrastructure to delivery.

In my recent work, I helped reduce API response times from 50 seconds to 1 second by re-architecting workflows around asynchronous serverless patterns. I also improved payment processing speed by about 20%, which reflects my interest in building efficient, reliable backend systems that have a measurable business impact.

I have hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, ECS Fargate, DynamoDB, S3, AWS CDK, API Gateway, SQS, Step Functions, and IAM. I am comfortable designing infrastructure as code, implementing secure service-to-service communication, and maintaining cloud systems that are reliable and scalable.

My backend development experience includes working with Go and FastAPI, as well as building asynchronous document-processing workflows with Temporal and PostgreSQL. I have also developed secure payment APIs, internal admin dashboards, and real-time analytics updates using Server-Sent Events.

I enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, including frontend and ML engineers, to ship production-ready features. I value clear communication, practical engineering decisions, and building systems that support both technical and product goals.

Outside of day-to-day engineering, I have also contributed to research and technical writing through a published journal article. I hold a Master's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Information Technology and Communication, and I continue to strengthen my skills through hands-on projects such as implementing an HTTP/1.1 server from scratch in Go.
