Senior Full Stack Engineer

I am a Senior Full Stack Engineer and hands-on Tech Lead with more than 7 years of experience building web and mobile products. My core stack includes Node.js, TypeScript, React Native, React, Next.js, MongoDB, Kafka, and AWS, and I have strong experience across backend APIs, mobile applications, Backend-for-Frontend architecture, integrations, and technical leadership.

I have worked on products with international scope, including platforms operating in Portugal, Spain, Belgium, France, Norway, and Italy. I enjoy owning complex systems end to end, from backend services to web and mobile interfaces, and I am comfortable working in remote, cross-functional, and multicultural environments.

One of my key achievements was serving as the sole engineer responsible for the entire stack of Volup, a premium food delivery platform, where I maintained zero downtime while supporting operations across two countries. I also led the migration of a legacy retail platform to a modern Next.js architecture and designed a Node.js BFF to orchestrate microservices.

I was promoted to Tech Lead and led a small cross-functional team, where I helped improve delivery speed by introducing an AI-assisted, spec-driven development workflow. I value practical engineering, clear technical direction, and building systems that are reliable, scalable, and maintainable.

Earlier in my career, I worked on legacy systems, banking modules, and geolocation software, which strengthened my ability to reverse-engineer codebases, document technical solutions, and deliver under real-world constraints. These experiences helped me build a strong foundation in backend development, SQL, and software architecture.
