Product Engineer
About Me
I am a Product Engineer with deep expertise in Android, Kotlin, mobile infrastructure, and software development, with experience building and modernizing mobile applications in startup and large-scale environments.
I have spent more than 15 years working across the stack, leading Android initiatives, Kotlin migrations, and production infrastructure projects. I enjoy solving complex engineering problems and shipping features that improve user experience and developer productivity.
At Meta, I have worked on Messenger and Facebook production infrastructure, led large client infrastructure projects, refactored core messaging surfaces, and helped drive Java-to-Kotlin conversion efforts. I also led a major Android 17 upgrade across multiple teams and contributed to agentic development workflows.
Previously, I worked at AbleTo, where I led Android development for a native app transition, contributed to CI/CD pipelines, supported Play Store deployments, and helped grow the team through interviews and technical leadership. I also worked at Willowtree, Ticketmaster, Two Toasters, and FireApps, building Android products, reusable architectures, and developer tools.
My background includes open-source work such as ReduxKotlin, which I created as a Kotlin Multiplatform implementation of the Redux pattern for shared application architecture. I have also contributed to patents, award-winning projects, and educational talks at meetups and conferences.
I value collaboration with product, design, data, and engineering teams, and I bring a strong mix of technical leadership, mentorship, and hands-on implementation. I am especially interested in building scalable mobile systems and modernizing applications with clean architecture and thoughtful engineering practices.
