Telecommunications Technician

I am a motivated and hands-on Telecommunications Technician with a strong foundation in networking, fiber optics, and technical installations. I have completed a Diploma from Telone Center for Learning and built practical experience through attachment and employment at Telone Kwekwe Exchange.

I have worked on installing and wiring communication lines from exchange to customer premises, configuring routers and modems, and assisting with fiber optic splicing and cable installations. I have also participated in network upgrades and performed troubleshooting and maintenance of telecom systems.

My technical background includes FTTH and FTTB installations, aerial distribution cable work, pole planting for fiber installations, and support for Starlink and VSAT setups. I am also familiar with operating system installation and general technical support tasks.

I am especially interested in expanding my skills in CCTV installation, alarm systems, and broader security technologies. I enjoy working in ICT and security-related environments and am eager to keep learning and growing in these fields.

I bring strong teamwork, communication, adaptability, and problem-solving skills to my work. I am comfortable working on-site and in field environments, and I take pride in being reliable and hands-on.
