PHP Backend Developer

I am a PHP Backend Developer with solid experience building web applications and websites, while also being comfortable with front-end development. I have worked across multiple PHP ecosystems, including Laravel, Symfony, Zend Framework, and vanilla PHP, and I am aiming to grow further into a full-stack role.

I have contributed to projects involving security improvements, API integrations, SSO implementation with SAML, and REST API development. I have also worked on web scraping, ETL systems, and AI-powered content generation features using OpenAI prompts API, which helped me expand my experience with automation and dynamic application logic.

In my recent work, I helped maintain and improve large-scale applications with complex business rules, many database tables, and heavy external API usage. I have handled upgrades, migrations, bug fixing, feature development, and rebuilding systems when major framework version jumps required a fresh implementation.

Earlier in my career, I completed an internship and then continued in full-time backend development, where I learned Laravel in depth, built CRUD applications, and worked on features for applications related to finance and commerce. I also gained experience with document generation and manipulation, including PDF, Excel, and Word processing.

I enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, and I adapt well to deadlines and changing project requirements. I have also contributed as a volunteer developer, where I supported feature development, bug fixing, and UI improvements on an internal platform.

I speak Serbian and English fluently, and I am based in Niš, Serbia. I am motivated by solving technical problems, improving application quality, and building reliable backend systems that support real business needs.
