Professional summary

Financial analyst specializing in company valuation and financial modeling — DCF, comparable company analysis, IFRS/RAS financial statement review. Currently a 4th-year student at Amur State University (International Relations, Customs Affairs specialization) — not a finance degree on paper, but I've built my valuation and modeling skills hands-on, not just in theory.
What I do:
Financial modeling (DCF: cash flow projections, WACC, terminal value, sensitivity analysis), comparable company valuation (EV/EBITDA, P/E), and financial statement analysis under IFRS and RAS. I work with market data via MOEX and Investing.com.
I have a complete practical case study — a full company valuation combining DCF and peer-comparison analysis, from raw financial data through to final investment conclusions. The model is built entirely with live formulas in Excel, no hardcoded values.
Alongside my studies, I'm independently building a product that automates the extraction of financial data from reports (IFRS/RAS) into structured formats — which gave me a practical, ground-level understanding of financial statements, not just an analyst's-eye view.
Strengths:
Detail-oriented and precise — when working with financial statements, I actively cross-check discrepancies between sources rather than taking the first figure at face value. Self-taught and able to pick up new topics independently, seeing projects through from problem statement to final conclusion. I also have experience defending analytical and academic work in front of a review committee — I can walk through my assumptions and reasoning, not just present a number.
I've also studied the fundamentals of accounting, which gives me a methodological (not just analytical) understanding of financial statements.
What I'm looking for:
A role where I can apply and grow my financial modeling and valuation skills on real projects — with a fast learning curve and increasing ownership as my expertise develops.

Career history

Subcontractor / Work Coordinator (Equipment Technical Maintenance) ZPTK LLC

Started as a technical specialist — recharging, firmware updates, and configuration of "Nartis" metering devices. As responsibilities grew, moved into a subcontractor role: recruited and coordinated a small team of workers, oversaw quality control and deadline compliance.
Key takeaway: progressed from entry-level technician to team coordinator within a short timeframe through attention to work quality and reliability; managed a small team with a focus on outcomes, not just process.
