I am a computer science and engineering professional with more than 27 years of experience in teaching, databases, programming, and data-driven decision support.
My background combines academic teaching with applied work in big data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data warehousing, and reporting systems. I have taught and supported students and professionals across universities and training institutions in Canada, the UAE, Egypt, and the United States.
I have extensive experience developing and administering reporting and database solutions for SIS, HR, and finance systems, including Oracle-based data warehousing, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, and related tools. I have also led report-writing teams and supported end users in solving operational issues.
My research interests include big data management, data visualization, data mining, knowledge discovery, optimization, and smart manufacturing. I have contributed to academic research and publications in machine learning, biomedical informatics, and industrial applications of AI.
I hold a Ph.D. in IMSE Engineering focused on big data analytics for complex systems, along with a master’s degree in computer science and engineering and a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering. I also hold professional certifications in Oracle, internet/web technologies, and computer literacy.
I am fluent in English and Arabic and have a strong record of teaching, mentoring, presenting, and working independently or in collaborative teams. I am open to roles that combine teaching, analytics, database systems, and applied AI.
