Associate Professor of English, Cross-Cultural Communication & Translation Studies; Department Head

I am an educator, researcher, and academic leader with a background in English language education, Translation Studies, Cross-Cultural Communication, artificial intelligence, research methodology, and data analysis.

I currently serve as an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Foreign Languages at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. In these roles, I teach undergraduate and graduate students, supervise research projects and theses, lead departmental operations, support faculty development, contribute to curriculum design, and align teaching and research activities with institutional priorities and academic quality standards.

I have extensive practical expertise in generative artificial intelligence, particularly ChatGPT and related AI tools. I apply AI to academic research, teaching, curriculum development, data analysis, scholarly writing, research supervision, and the improvement of educational processes. My interests also include AI-assisted research, prompt design, digital pedagogy, and the responsible integration of emerging technologies into higher education.

My academic leadership experience includes managing teaching and research activities, coordinating academic programmes, mentoring faculty members, supporting professional development, promoting research productivity, and encouraging collaboration within the department and across the university.

I hold a PhD in Linguistics, Literature, and Translation Studies and have extensive experience in higher education, academic research, teaching, mentoring, curriculum development, research methodology, and academic administration.

My scholarly interests include critical thinking, English language education, translation, cross-cultural communication, artificial intelligence in education, AI-supported research, data-informed decision-making, and innovative pedagogical practices. I have published widely in academic journals and conference proceedings and have contributed to textbooks, instructional materials, and research initiatives.
