I am an Investment Operations Apprentice with hands-on experience in reconciliations, cash management, settlements, and asset transfers. I focus on keeping records accurate, resolving breaks quickly, and supporting smooth daily operations in a regulated financial environment.
In my previous apprenticeship, I have worked across cash, stock, and transit reconciliations, prepared MI reports, monitored cash movements, and supported settlement processing. I am comfortable working to deadlines, reprioritising tasks when systems are unavailable, and maintaining audit-ready records.
I have also gained experience with AML checks, client money segregation, payment processing, and transfer case management. These responsibilities have strengthened my attention to detail, my understanding of operational risk, and my ability to work carefully with sensitive financial data.
I am CISI Level 3 certified and continue to build my knowledge through practical experience and professional development. I enjoy learning how investment operations support the wider financial services process and how strong controls help protect clients and firms.
My education includes A-level study in Economics, Sociology, and Religious Studies, along with GCSEs and several virtual work experience programmes in commercial banking, accountancy, and business management. These experiences helped me develop a broader understanding of finance, analysis, and teamwork.
I am reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow within investment operations or a similar financial services role. I am particularly interested in roles where I can continue developing my technical knowledge, contribute to efficient processes, and support high-quality operational outcomes.
