Lead the Digital Product team’s technical development, manage a team of web developers, and own technical decision-making for Tate’s website and audience-facing digital products. Responsibilities include technical specification and architecture, scalable code delivery, code review, release deployment, CDN log monitoring, Sentry triage, sprint planning, Agile delivery, line management, mentoring, and senior stakeholder collaboration. Key achievements include accessibility strategy and WCAG 2.1 AA audit leadership, delivery of the Tate Schools Discovery Tool, CI/CD and infrastructure contributions, Elasticsearch optimisation, architecture of the Tate Story Player, IIIF deep-zoom server delivery, Fastly Compute@Edge development, and migration of a legacy Java pipeline to Python/GraphQL.

Full-stack development for Tate’s digital platforms using Python, Django, and Wagtail CMS. Built and maintained features for the public website, internal tools, and educational resources, with responsibilities including PostgreSQL operations, Elasticsearch search indexing, and Azure cloud infrastructure management.

Delivered end-to-end web projects for clients across publishing, arts, and education sectors. Work included custom CMS development, full-stack web development, brand identity, and design.

Produced marketing agency design work including Photoshop retouching, brochure layout, HTML microsites, animated banners, and responsive email development.
