I am an embedded software engineer with over 7 years of experience building low-power firmware for IoT, smart-home, and energy-management products.
I have worked extensively in C on Nordic NRF52 and ARM Cortex-M platforms, developing wireless solutions with Bluetooth LE mesh, Wirepas, MQTT, and other embedded protocols.
I have a strong background in test automation and quality engineering, including building device-in-the-loop test farms, QA frameworks, and remote deployment workflows that improved release confidence and reduced manual testing time.
I also bring hands-on hardware and systems experience, including PCB design, lab instrumentation, commissioning systems, and embedded debugging across the full product lifecycle.
In addition to engineering delivery, I have taken on leadership and mentoring responsibilities, supporting students, apprentices, and team members while contributing to operational improvements and technical decision-making.

Experience
Lead operations at a test-and-measurement reseller while continuing hands-on technical work. Repair and test equipment prior to resale, built an internal web app to streamline listing and photography workflows, launched the rentals branch, established operating procedures, and manage a team of three.
Developed QA automation for embedded thermostats and cloud services using Node-RED, Pytest, and Playwright. Built an automated test farm running regression tests across 48 devices in parallel via Raspberry Pi controllers and AWS MQTT. Implemented secure remote access with Twingate and contributed firmware bug fixes in embedded C.
Led firmware development for smart outdoor lighting and IoT smart-plug systems on Nordic NRF52 hardware. Scaled deployment using Wirepas Bluetooth mesh, achieved 100% OTA success across a 200-device fleet, and built ThingsBoard dashboards and helper libraries in C and Python for remote management and debugging.
Provided industry consultancy and senior technical support for the Electrical Engineering Department. Designed automated test rigs, extended them with computer vision safety features, created PCB designs in Proteus Professional and KiCad, authored C and Python lab tutorials, mentored students, and secured funding for PCB fabrication equipment.
