Senior Backend Engineer

I built the smart-metering integration solo, connecting the platform to more than 10 third-party provider APIs with different authentication models, rate limits, and failure modes.

I designed and shipped the platform's audit system, giving teams and customers a reliable record of who changed what and when. I also added Grafana dashboards to identify performance bottlenecks and then fixed them, cutting query times by up to 17x, including a slow data-export path.

I halved CI runtime on two separate occasions by restructuring GitHub Actions pipelines. I also coordinated projects across engineering, product, and customer success, and wrote engineering documentation used as a team reference and as context for AI coding tools.

I designed a serverless AWS architecture around DynamoDB single-table design, modeling partition and sort keys to application access patterns for predictable scaling.

I built policy-based authorization with Rego and OPA over sensitive automotive data to enforce TISAX compliance requirements. I also led an end-to-end frontend rebuild from Next.js to Angular, improving load performance by 80% and raising Jest test coverage above 90%.

I built and maintained the company web platform, which served a user base of over 50,000.

I led the migration from self-hosted infrastructure to the cloud, raising system availability to near 100%. I also owned deployment and monitoring of the production stack, supporting stable operations for the platform.

I completed a five-year engineering diploma in Computer Science Engineering.
