QA Automation Engineer

I led the design and implementation of an end-to-end UI automation framework in Playwright/TypeScript using the Page Object Model. The framework scaled to 500+ test cases across multiple product modules.

I reduced manual regression effort by more than 60% by building and maintaining GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines that run full regression suites on every pull request. I also built API test automation and performed backend validation using MySQL and PostgreSQL queries.

I partnered closely with developers and product managers during sprint planning and story grooming, and I mentored junior QA engineers on automation architecture and TypeScript best practices.

I authored and executed test cases against client requirements and functional specifications across web and web-service layers in an Agile environment.

I owned end-to-end defect management in JIRA, including logging, prioritizing, and tracking issues through resolution with developers. I also executed API testing with Postman and validated backend data with SQL Workbench.

I produced daily test execution reports and led weekly stand-ups with client stakeholders to keep progress and blockers visible. I worked in both contract and permanent capacities on the account.
